3-2-1: Healthier Leaves + Life's Purpose 🪴

Happy Friday!

Here are 3 plant health tips, 2 thoughts of the week, and 1 question for you.

This is something new I’m introducing to give you weekly tips on plant/soil health, life philosophy, and contemplation. Life is an interesting journey that has so many different lessons, challenges, and opportunities for growth. I hope this can bring you more successful growing with plants and life. Now lets dive in...

3 Plant Health Tips:

  • Leaves are like our skin. They are covered in bacteria, fungi, and other microbes that protect us from disease (some cause disease) and keep foliage healthy.
By increasing the health of the microbial flora on your leaves you’ll have far less disease and your plants will be better at photosynthesis ☀️. Our probiotic was made just for this reason.

  • pH ‼️ This one I honestly cannot stress enough and should post about at least once a week as a reminder lol. pH is the amount of hydrogen present in your soil and the water you use to water your plants.
The easiest way I’ve found to explain pH is this: pH is the currency your plants trade for food. The food marketplace in your soil doesn't carry change so if the pH is too high, or too low, your plants can't buy the food they need.
Checking the pH of your water will help you grow plants so much easier. Our probiotic, yucca, and fertilizer will help adjust the pH of your soil as well.

  • Put dead leaves back on your soil whether you're growing indoors or out.
This is how nature has fertilized itself for millions of years and is essential for keeping soil healthy long term and providing a constant source of nutrition for microbes so they can feed your plants 🪴.

2 Thoughts of the week:

  •  The 3 scales of purpose.
It’s so easy to put all of the emphasis of purpose on a career or hobby. If I’m not doing enough or haven't achieved what I want to achieve it feels as if my purpose hasn't been fulfilled.
Recently I’ve seen my purpose as a scale with 3 arms attached. Career (Bios), relationships with others, relationship with myself. If any of these are out of balance it throws off the entire system.
  • You become what you think.
We all experience different traumas and moments in our lives that shape how we think about ourselves and the world around us.
We all know the saying ABRACADABRA as we cast magical spells in our youth. The translation for this word actually means “I create as I speak”. Whether you are speaking in your head or out loud, those words you say to yourself or others will shape the world around you whether for good, or bad.
By changing the way you speak about yourself and the world around you, you will literally begin to change your life.

1 Question:

  • Is there an area of your life you've been neglecting; or a plant??

Did this bring anything to mind plant wise or personally? I would love to hear your story in the comments below 👇
