Hey, I'm Aaron. The Founder of Bios...

Since I was a kid I've always wanted to make change in the world. My Dad told my sister and I "if you can create free energy, or grow hair back, you'll be rich".  So he instilled an inventor spirit in us early on.

Growing up in a small town called Wiarton, my family owned a Home Hardware store that served our community. I watched my parents work day and night to build a successful business and this was the foundation of my entrepreneurial spirit.

When I left home for College in Toronto, I really struggled to find my place and my identity.

After graduating I began growing plants and felt like I had finally found where I belong. A hobby quickly turned into an obsession as I discovered the ancient alchemy of making natural fertilizers & pesticides.

Why I started Bios...

During college I took a course called Water: A Life or Death Issue. It showed all the ways that synthetic chemicals in agriculture were destroying our planet while poisioning our food and water.

This was a way I could make a big change and I loved using cannabis so it just made sense to apply for a license to grow it medicinally.

I did what the internet said to do and spent $1000 on liquid organic fertilizers, plus tens of hours mixing and hauling water through the bush. At the end of the year I looked around at the forest and asked myself "How do plants just grow in the ground on their own?"

I went deep on forums online and discovered soil microbiology. Turns out plants have a symbiotic relationship with living organisms (microbes) in the soil that feed them 24/7, protect them from diseases, AND make them naturally pest resistant!! 🤯

I started experimenting and learning how to make my own soils, fertilizers, and pesticides using what I learned. They worked so good the goal became "How do I share this with the world?".

The future of Bios?

We're currently testing our liquid plant fertilizer on two commercial soy bean farms, green roofs throughout Toronto, and thousands of homes across North America.

Our plan is to sell this literally magic liquid fertilizer to commercial food producers across North America at an affordable cost to grow food without harmful chemicals, and replenish our dying soils.
